About

BG1Q5584edHi, I’m Beth Ann Galvin. I’ve made it my life’s work to assist corporate executives and leading influencers to improve their business presentation skills and abilities, refine their presentation personas and ensure that their communication efforts are both distinctive and effective. My dedication to helping people overcome public speaking nerves and presentation anxiety and make an impact every time they speak in public, has earned a reputation for being “The Presentation Fixer”.

My Background

As the Founder and MD of Business Communication Skills Holdings, I’ve spent the last 30 years overseeing the delivery of market-leading training in Business Presentation, Communication, Customer Service and Sales Skills to many of South Africa’s Top 200 companies as well as several multinationals. I’ve steadily relied on tried and tested presentation coaching techniques and training methods to help corporate professionals and senior executives to become proficient in the areas public speaking, grooming and interpersonal communication. See what my clients have to say.

I make myself available for conference talks at a limited number of events every year, where I deliver lively and informative motivational presentations that have inspired many of the country’s top business people.

My Passions

I have been an active trustee with Sparrow Schools almost since its inception 25 years ago, and currently serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. I’m grateful to have been a part of this life changing organisation which has evolved from a place of supplementary learning for children who were adversely affected by the township riots during the apartheid era, to becoming an fully-equipped schooling facility that offers youth with barriers to learning a quality education and employable skills.

Most notably, Sparrow has successfully launched South Africa’s first accredited FET (Further Education Training) College that focuses  specifically on providing practical vocational skills training aimed at equipping students with useful skills (such as automotive and catering), that give them a solid entry into the workplace.

My Family

In other news, I am passionate about my two spunky children— Simon Ngwenya my 25 year old Zulu son, and my daughter Georgia who is 17.

We live in Johannesburg, South Africa with our wonderful extended family of a Basset dog called ‘Snoop Dog’, a Leopard Gecko named Zoe, and Georgia’s horse, Coco Rico.
